The business is appointing a qualified, CFP®-registered Financial Adviser to provide professional advice to clients, build and maintain client relationships, and support the growth of the business through quality financial planning.
The role suits a self-driven, client-focused adviser who is fully compliant with FAIS Fit and Proper requirements and holds valid CFP® registration. A three-month probation period applies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide professional financial planning and advisory services to clients.
- Build, manage and maintain client relationships.
- Conduct client needs analyses and make suitable financial recommendations.
- Present appropriate financial solutions in line with client objectives.
- Ensure all advice and documentation complies with FAIS requirements and internal processes.
- Manage client reviews and ongoing service requirements.
- Grow and develop a client portfolio.
- Work with the administrative team to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
Minimum requirements
- Valid CFP® registration.
- Compliance with the Fit and Proper Regulations of the FAIS Act.
- Own reliable transport.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage an own client base.
- Professional, ethical and compliance-focused approach.
Remuneration and benefits
- Negotiable minimum income for the first six months.
- Commission splits ranging from 50/50 to 70/30, depending on annual production.
- Pension benefit contribution of R500 per month from Dotport.
- Medical scheme available at own cost.

- 18 working days’ annual leave, including compulsory leave during the December festive season.
The successful candidate also receives full administrative backup, access to contracts at various companies, a professional office environment in Centurion, and supportive infrastructure for client servicing and business development.
