Role overview
Chartered Wealth Solutions is seeking an experienced Associate Financial Planner to join its Cape Town office.
The role suits a confident, mature planner with three or more years’ experience who is ready to manage client relationships directly and deliver high-quality advice.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in and lead client meetings.
- Build and manage client relationships.
- Compile financial plans and recommendations.
- Conduct financial analysis and modelling.
- Ensure compliance with FAIS and Fit and Proper requirements.
Minimum requirements
- Three or more years’ financial planning experience.
- BCom degree.
- RE5 qualification.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning.
Preferred qualifications
- CFP® designation preferred, or in progress.
Skills and competencies
- Client relationship management and meeting leadership.
- Financial analysis, modelling and plan compilation.
- Regulatory discipline across FAIS and Fit and Proper obligations.
